Winter Hike to Buffalo Mountain

The boy and me recently went up to Buffalo Mountain.  It had snowed a few days prior, but all the snow was off of the trees at the lower elevations.  To my delight, ice was still covering the trees up on windswept Buffalo Mountain!  I was also glad to blaze a trail in the snow on the ground, meaning it had been left untouched since the recent snow storm.  All of the photos were taken with my smartphone and DJI Mavic Air.  I am still researching compact cameras as bringing my DSLR kit and child hiking is just a little more than I want to carry(and I can't leave the kid at home)

This is the view after the last turn as you head up to the top.

The next few photos are from the DJI Mavic Air.  I am quite impressed at the image quality that this little machine provides!
